Bev and I are partners in our hobby businesses and in life. We’ve spent over 30 years collecting, studying, and sharing artifacts that tell the story of Black life in America. We try to preserve everyday objects and cultural milestones.

Our goal is to expose and understand the systemic enforcement of stereotypes that have shaped and suppressed people of color. We believe these artifacts, whether historically accurate or distorted, help us confront and understand the past.

All our items are vintage and authentic to the best of our knowledge. These historical pieces were part of the work, home, and social environments of Black people in America.
